    10-30 mobil 1 every 3000 here...

    5-30 in winters...

regardless of what the situation...3000 miles period. give or take 100 miles or so.

with 160 on the clock...she still runs like new. Idles perfect, no lumps or hesitation...still perfect. Then again, I don't run her hard hardly...

hell i see it like this. If it is good enough for a Corvette, its good enough for the breast!! ha ha ha. I used to get the Molbile 1 at the chevy dealer i worked at, and for free. Now im going to have to pay for it. 5W-30 always. Every 2500 miles. I drive very aggressive so that thing gets pretty dark after 2500 miles.. No excuses. Do it when its due. Those oil life lights are not so accurate.

Absolutely. You really should change that oil. You should probably check your valve lash as well. There is a pretty good writeup on Rob's (Shoebox) website.
